Residential building — historic Tel Aviv, Bialik 23

A facade that no longer leaks

An old building in a historic neighborhood. During winter, residents experienced water leaks through the walls and windows, causing dampness, mold, and black stains on the ceilings (signs of moisture and mildew). From the outside, the facade looked worn and was crumbling.

What we did:

• Removed damaged sections
• Cleaned and treated the old rebar
• Restored the concrete using proper techniques
• Applied plaster and primer
• Painted the facade in two coats
• Sealed the gaps around windows using Sika paste
• Added a protective layer on the balcony to prevent future water damage to the walls

The result:
The building is dry again. The walls no longer leak, the facade is protected, and the residents can now get through the winter without mold or water intrusion.
