Seaside Facade Restoration

The facade of this legendary beachfront hotel had begun to deteriorate: concrete was crumbling, and the internal rebar had completely rusted — in some places, it had literally turned to dust.
We took on the challenging but crucial task of restoring the building’s strength and protecting it from the harsh marine environment.

What we did:
• Chipped away all crumbling areas — and a bit beyond, to ensure solid bonding
• In places where the rebar had disintegrated, we reinforced the structure with new steel
• Applied a special homer for long-term durability
• Covered the surface with several layers of concrete
• After drying, applied tiach and then plaster
• Finished with primer and two coats of paint resistant to sea wind, salt, and sun

Special attention to safety:
The work took place directly above a busy street. We implemented extra safety measures to protect pedestrians and vehicles, ensuring the project could be completed safely in a high-traffic area.

The result:
The facade is once again strong, smooth, and protected — and the Dan Hotel welcomes guests with a renewed, elegant look.
