Facade repair by the sea
The hotel is located on the front line — right by the sea. Due to constant humidity, wind, and salt, the facade began to deteriorate: the concrete was crumbling, the rebar was rusting, and there was a risk of falling elements, especially concrete from the balconies.
What we did:
• Secured the area for guests and staff
• Removed all crumbling and weak sections
• Cleaned and treated the reinforcement
• Applied protective coatings
• Restored the facade using a multi-layer Sika concrete system
• Painted the facade with two layers of special paint ordered from Europe — it’s designed specifically for seaside buildings and provides long-term protection from salt and moisture
The result:
The facade looks respectable again, the building is reliably protected, and the hotel can safely continue welcoming guests.
