How we restore building exteriors

How We Restore External Walls

Why We Don’t “Cover Up” the Problem

We don’t “cover up” bulging areas — this is a common practice that masks the problem but doesn’t solve it. Moreover, such repairs are short-lived because they don’t address the root cause.

Brief explanation of the problem:
Concrete structures contain reinforcement bars. When the reinforcement rusts, it expands and breaks apart sections of concrete that detach from the building envelope.

What We Do in Practice

Stage 1: Damage Removal
Remove all loose concrete and plaster from the building’s external walls.

Stage 2: Cleaning and Reinforcement
Clean the reinforcement bars of rust and, if necessary, add additional bars.

Stage 3: Corrosion Protection
Apply Monotop to the damaged area — an anti-corrosion compound that also serves as an excellent bonding agent for the next layer.

Stage 4: Volume Restoration
Add additional layers of Sika Repair (a cement-based mixture for concrete restoration) as needed.

Stage 5: Finishing Coat
The outer layer — cement plaster or exterior filler (depending on the building type).

Stage 6: Additional Protection
We recommend painting with paint or acrylic schlich to provide additional protection against water penetration.

Every stage — by the book. We do it so it lasts not one year but much longer!

Working with Hazardous Buildings

In cases of a hazardous building or defects that appear dangerous to us:

  • Work is carried out under engineer supervision
  • Everything is done according to the engineer’s instructions and under their supervision
  • The engineer verifies that everything was done properly
  • This is what determines whether the “hazardous building” status will be removed

Our Working Principles

Individual Approach

We don’t work “by template” — every house requires a different solution depending on the building cladding: mosaic, plaster, stone, schlich, paint, etc.

Working According to Standards

  • Every stage — according to standards
  • Quality and certified materials
  • Following engineer’s instructions
  • No shortcuts and no compromises

Quality Guarantee

Warranty is provided only for work performed properly.
